H10 Duque de Loulé, Lisbon

The room was very elegant. It had excellent lighting, windows that opened for fresh air, power cord outlets in convenient locations, soft surfaces were plush and comfortable. The staff in the reception bar made delicious cappuccinos and lattes with accompanying pastries - all gratis. Front desk staff knowledgeable and helpful making requested arrangements.

6 night stay at the this wonderful city centre hotel. The location is great; close to the centre but a short walk from the bustle and close to the Metro. The hotel is beautifully furnished and immaculately kept. The room was large, great bathroom and very comfortable, which was a nice surprise for Lisbon! (Any European city really!!). The rooftop bar was a nice place for a pre dinner drink or late lunch with stunning views over the city. And very importantly the staff! All very friendly and attentive. We had a great visit to Lisbon! And I would recommend the H10 Douqe de Loule!

Best location, great service, very very clean, not understaffed and the food in the restaurant was amazing. This hotel is centrally located in the downtown area. However, its on a side street so you have little foot traffic and bus/car traffic. Even with buses that stop a block away from the hotel its still quiet. This hotel is not far from the metro station Has a fridge and coffee maker in each room. Keep in mind that Lisbon has many inclined streets. So you may walk down an incline street which may land you at 300ft elevation. But youll will have to walk up to an elevation of 425ft or more. Transportation: Uber worked out well for us when traveling to places not too far but highly recommend if you or someone you travel has problems walking. I suggest that you get the Hop On Hop Off (HOHO) bus/river cruise/tram combo. I did the 96hr package with the (Yellow Bus company and it worked out well. I will add that the Greyline HOHO buses all meet on the lower level of Pombal circle. The YellowBus HOHO is at a higher elevation. When boarding the famous #28 tram theres a long line. And when boarding you may want to sit on the left hand side of the tram to see the river. However if you dontnot to worry because when youre on the River cruise youll have free range of great views. Hotel: I stayed at the H10 in Lisbon. OMG!!!!! You must plan dinner at least one night on your visit. I suggest the day you check in! You can converse with the Maitre d and he can give you insight on what to do, where to go, just great advice. They provide two bottles of water and a loaded fridge with incidentals for a steep price. The hotel staff are amazing. When you check in ask for an iron since the rooms arent equipped with one. Try to iron all your outfits for you stay because the wait is very long. And make sure you return the iron for others to use as soon as youre finished. When you do this, the hotel staff are pleasantly kind and accommodating through out your visit. The rooms are very clean and spacious. My only complaint are the wood floors. So you can hear your neighbor walking in the room next to you. Make sure to purchase the breakfast with your reservation. Youll kick yourself for not doing so. Full buffet and just amazing options. Near By Restaurants: Horrible options!! You have two options. Eat dinner at the hotel or venture to the main strip for a great selection. The local restaurants are just horrible. Souvenir/Supermarket Shopping: Theres a great little souvenir store a block away. When exiting the hotel make a right and youll see a little grocery store and next to that a little souvenir store. This souvenir store has good prices but ask for discount if spending more than $20USD and hes open till 8pm. Theres a larger grocery store right across the street called Cantinete. They have every thing youll need.

Just home from a lovely break in Lisbon. This hotel was ideally located to tour the city. Was a bit dissapointed that there wasnt much of a choice of english channels on tv . Rooms were spacious and spotless. Staff were really lovely and the rooftop bar for a coffee and snack was really really lovely. I would return.

What a marvellous hotel! The design and decor are both stylish and have a traditional Portuguese feel. We were in a standard bedroom with a great shower and plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable with really soft bed linens. The hotel breakfast left you spoilt for choice. We ate in the hotel twice for dinner and the food and service was excellent. The rooftop bar has great views but can get busy as it is open to the public as well as hotel guests. The staff could not have been more helpful and in particular the Food & Beverage manager Hugo Simao was a great source of entertainment and knowledge. All in all, a great experience and would certainly return again.
